Lymphatic drainage is a type of massage with compressed air which is supplied through a special suit. The ladder consists of different sections- pants, sleeves, abdominal band- allowing for impacts both on the whole body and on its individual parts. The intensity, force of air pressure in the suit, and the exposure time are all customized to a client’s body and skin. Pain and discomfort are excluded for this treatment. Client will feel normal sensation, such as relaxation and pleasant warmth (infrared) throughout their body.
Lymphatic drainage works by affecting the deep layers of the dermis, blood vessels, and the lymphatic system. Due to the correct and gentle massage movement during the procedure, metabolic processes in the body are normalized, it is cleansed of toxins that enter the lymph. The diuretic effect as a result of lymphatic drainage is an indicator of its effectiveness. Lymphatic drainage helps with the treatment of varicose veins by strengthening vascular walls, and normalizing blood flows in the extremities. It is also effective for cellulite, weight loss, sagging skin, toning, preventative and rehabilitative therapies, aesthetic medicine, and plastic surgery. It releases fluid and toxins from the body. It also helps to relieve muscle aches and pain, fatigue, and stiffness of movements. Lymphatic drainage is an excellent remedy for dealing with stress and its consequences such as irritability, insomnia, muscle tension, and spasms. Due to the mild relaxing effect in the improvement of metabolic processes, lymphatic drainage helps to normalize the gastrointestinal tract and improve digestion.
The number of sessions needed depends on the desired results. It is not advisable to do treatments daily. We recommend two times a week. The indicated breaks between sessions are necessary for the body to adapt to the 10-15 treatments recommended throughout the course for best results.
